We Are Each Other’s Backyard reflects the idea that community is not something we pass through, but something we belong to and are responsible for. The work explores how our lives are interconnected—how care, presence, and responsibility extend beyond our own personal space and into the lives of others.

The “backyard” becomes a metaphor for shared ground: a place of honesty, rest, conflict, and growth.
